The game takes place in a world where young twins Lydie and Suelle are training to become alchemists. They happen across a series of magic paintings, and find that they can enter these images to explore various landscapes. All manner of adventures await them across these magical worlds, and it is the job of the player to ensure they fulfil their quest. Doing so involves collecting items, fighting monsters and learning magic.
A Mixture of Different Gameplay Styles

To obtain new items for use in the game, the player must take part in a puzzle-like synthesis system.
